I grew up in a family of all girls, so everytime I see mine, (girls) I get nostalgic. My girls play so well together it really is so fun to watch. They even have little inside jokes now. I see hours of Barbies, Dolls, Dancing and Dress-up in my future. I also see hours of fighting and not getting along at all, putting it quite lightly. I am sure you get the point. And even tho there are days when I am so tired of all the emotional stuff that seems to come along with girls, I have to say that I am in heaven. Like the song says thank heaven for little girls. They are such a delite to me. Always picking flowers from the yard and making bouquets . Always there are little love notes on my bed. Always there are Barbies dancing at the ball and falling madly in love with the prince. Always, Mom watch my dance, watch me twirl. The sweet thing is I remember doing the same thing to my mom. Another sweet thing is I know where they are heading. Friends for life. What could be better. Here are just some pictures of their history together.

land of the free and the home of the brave

The fourth of July is one of my all time favorite holidays. I am so grateful for the sacrifices made on my behalf. I have always loved history, But love love love American history because the lords hand was in it. We are truly blessed to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. May I live brave and always fight not only for my freedom but for the freedom of others. Happy fourth everyone.

midgets and unicorns
So Kade and I went on a date last night. We went to ironman which we both loved, it was just a fun fast moving movie. Then we had some good Mexican food at Bajio, I love this place. Then the perfect topper, Barns and Noble baby!!! I love to look at books with no children around, its great. But I must admit the highlight was before we even got to the movie. As we were going down Sunnyside, which is a four lane busy road now we saw a midget/ small person running full speed across the traffic. Kade started yelling its a midget a midget! Then he tried to convince me that seeing a midget run full speed was like seeing a unicorn. I seriously laugh everytime I think of it. Now the kraus house is a midget friendly environment. More power to the little people of the world, But unicorns? Really?

Salt Lake City vacation
A couple weeks ago, Kade and I were talking and we just felt like we needed to get away for a bit. There was talks about West Yellowstone, Jacksonhole, Logan. We decided to head to salt lake.
Everytime we take a trip I always love to take a photo of the kids, habit I guess. Its just fun to capture their excitement. The fun thing about Ava's photo is its the first time that she has given a thumbs up. I know shame on us she's two for crying out loud poor kid!

Finally, at the zoo we decided to have a break because it was so hot we got some ice cream. Harper is already pretty intense about food, but took it to a new level with ice cream. Here are the pictures.
We really had such a great time. Yep, it was awesome!!!

oh my Ava
So we just got back from such a fun trip to Salt lake City. I will blog all about it later, but I really wanted to tell a quick story about Ava. We were eating breakfast at Denny's and Ava was asking about the sugar packets.
" What are these mom?"
"Oh, These are for people who have coffee."
all of a sudden ava starts a hugh coughing fit. She thought that I had said sugar is for people that cough.
She is soooo dang cute.
