Happy Birthday Lovee!!!

Yesterday my sweetheart turned 32. We had a fun party with lots of food and even more fun. I met Kade the winter semester of 98. I was very fortunate to have Kade as one of my very good friends for the first three months of knowing each other. I was in a weird relationship and he was always there for me, quietly helping me to be more confident in myself. While I got to give him advice on the cute girls he would date. It wasn't until I overheard some friends talking that I found out the Kade had once liked me. This blew my mind, and of course I wondered if there still might be a chance. Kade is one of those people that is just good to the core. Honest and kind. Respectful of others and women. He works so hard with everything he does, He is very independent and I have confidence that he could handle anything. Kade had three things that I couldn't resist: First, he is smart, and I don't just mean can think on his toes I mean genius smart. I have always loved intelligent people. Second, he's a hottie, enough said. Third, he makes me laugh, and I love that he is always trying to make me laugh. Anyways, I know that I am rambling about him, but I am proud of him, so thankful that he is in my life. What a friend, what a husband, What a father, What a GUY. I love you Walter.

Full circle

I know that this is totally late, but I wanted to say a little something about my mothers day. As I was sitting in church looking up at Ella singing the songs that I had sung to my mother, I couldn't help but think I had come full circle. Life is so fast and so amazing. I am so grateful for my mom. She is a constant example of what I should be trying to be. She is not only an amazing mom, but a great woman and friend. I love you mom!!
This little note wouldn't be complete without a mention of Kades mom, who is truly a awesome lady, I get to enjoy the fruits of her labor everyday. Thanks for kade, he's a keeper.
Happy late mothers day all you gals out there.

The curtain call

Well Ella has been in dance now for two years. She has really loved it. She is quite graceful and good at it. I learned that with her personality when the pressure is on, during a recital that is when she does the very best with her dances. We are going to take her out of it, when she starts kindergarten. We just want her to do school and will maybe start piano. Kade and I just want to be careful to not over schedule our lives, not yet anyways she too young, you know?
Anyways her very last recital is this weekend, she is a crocodile in Neverland. Good luck Ella Bella!!

Camp a la Kraus

Well we finally had a Kraus Family get together. We had planned to camp for two nights, but what would MAY be without snow, so the first night we camped in our house. Which was actually really fun. Saturday we got up and went hiking up to the alpine slide. Everyone had so much fun, Ella was the speed demon on the slide. Ava was just a courageous, she also loved the swings. We camped that night at the 7 north ranch at Heise. Overall it was a really nice time, so nice in fact, that we are going to do it again next year. Just maybe when it is a little bit warmer.

Kindergarten round-up

My sweet Ella will be heading off to Kindi this Fall. Before they go they have a round-up. Where the Kindi's to be can meet their teachers and see the classrooms. She loved it, I told her to find her favorite thing in the class, she loved the little phone booth. She is really excited and sooo ready for school, we are very proud of her.

Jenny's Graduation, LPN. Baby!!

Kades little sister Jenny, Graduated on the 7th of May, we are very proud of her and all of her hard work to get there.

The joy of the nap!!

Ella taking a nap on our swing.
Ava can take a nap anytime, anywhere.
Harper taking a nap on a swimming tube, comfee!
Oh, how I wish I could still nap, so jealous.

The story of the three fishermen

This is about three fishermen, the first being me about twenty five years ago. My poor father was blessed with four daughters. He got us all excited to go fishing, we all got little fishing poles, drove up to the fishing spot. He cast in our lines and one of us actually caught one, probably a trash fish, something you don't keep. We were so excited, we had actually caught a fish, then we realized the fish was going to die...!! So after all the screams of terror, and tantrums of crying, my dad packed up the poles and we never went fishing again.

The second fisherman is my Ava. She was so cute. She sat down with me on a log, we just watched the river (snake) together. Then a fish was caught. I don't think she cared less. Half way through the trip she just went and sat in the cab of grandpa's pickup. Totally happy and caring even less about all of the fish hype.

The third fisherman is Ella, Now she has been looking forward to fishing for about six months now, asking me over and over again when she would get to go. She got a fishing pole from grandpa and grandma kraus for her birthday. So we finally go. She catches her first fish, Just a white fish. White fish I guess are considered trash fish they have to many bones, so kade was going to toss it for the birds to eat. Then I heard ella...
" No, don't let it go, I want to eat it, lets eat it!!"

Talk about three very different fishermen.

April Showers bring what in May???

Okay, I like to think of myself as a pretty patient person, but all this snow in spring is starting to make us all batty. We want the sun. My girls faces say it all. Snow again yeah!! It wasn't just a little flutter either, couple inches, snowed part of the day and most of the night as well. Bring on the sun already. Love A slightly Nutty Nat
