Some pictures from the 4th

We had such a nice 4th of July. To started out our day we went to Menan Days. It was kind of an old school celebration. They had dunk tanks, three legged races, and foot races. Ella was brave and ran in the five year old girl race and came in second.. Kade ran in the 30 and over category and won. The girls also got their faces painted as you can see, Ella's pick a fairy I could have predicted, Ava's on the other hand and eagle not so much. It was awesome.

After running around we went and grabbed some lunch, then it was time for the parade. The girls were so excited Menan is a tiny town so we weren't sure what to expect.

It took awhile for the parade to get to us, I guess we were the end.

Harper was just happy to be out and about..

Until the fire trucks came!!

There was a tractor section in the parade. Some of them were soo old it was amazing that they were still running.

Then finally the big show. We went to our spot and it was so fun. Our dear friends Kurt and Kanani were with us making it an even better time

I love getting a picture of everyone watching the show, just a fun view. Harper was a champ, didn't cry at all. He just sat on his own watching the whole thing every once in awhile making a noise, giving his take of it all. What a great holiday and great day. And yes, Kade will be defending his title next year.
